Canine Design Housecall Grooming
When Lauren Lewis got into pet grooming right out of high school, she knew she’d found more than just a fun way to spend time with dogs — she’d found her lifelong passion. Soon enough, she became a full-time professional dog groomer, working for 15 years in grooming salons while also finding part-time work at veterinary hospitals to stay educated on all elements of pet care.
With this wealth of experience, Lauren at last had the chance to realize her own vision of pet grooming: a calm, caring service that leaves dogs looking great and feeling loved, all available in pet owners’ homes for a more convenient, less stress-inducing experience.

What is house call grooming?
House call grooming is a mobile grooming service provided inside your home instead of in a van or trailer. When Lauren shows up for house call grooming, she will bring all the tools and equipment she needs into your home and perform your pet’s grooming there. Once she’s finished, she’ll handle all the cleanup required. All Lauren needs from you is your dog!
Where will you do the bathing and haircutting?
Wherever you want! All Lauren needs is access to a tub/shower or sink for bathing, an outlet for the blow dryer, and a well-lit, comfortable, and climate-controlled space. A bathroom or laundry room is ideal, but she can make most spaces work, even if they aren’t particularly large.
Are there extra fees for a house call session?
Additional travel fees are included as part of the hourly price for any house call visits made 10 miles or more from the 78747 zip code area. Feel free to ask for further details when you book your appointment.
